Congrats!
We couldn’t be prouder of our nephew Calvin as he graduates from Arborg High School and prepares for his next big adventure at the University of Manitoba! As the eldest of four boys, Calvin has always been the quiet, thoughtful one – the kind of person who’d rather curl up with a good book than be the center of attention.
His incredible academic achievements speak for themselves. Those fantastic marks didn’t come by accident – they’re the result of Calvin’s genuine love of learning and his brilliant mind. The scholarships and bursaries he’s earned are well-deserved recognition of his hard work and dedication.
While Calvin might be more comfortable with equations than everyday tasks (we love you, Calvin!), we know he’s going to thrive in engineering at U of M. There’s something perfect about campus life for someone who values his books and his close circle of friends. Andy’s probably right that dorm life will be good for him – though we’re secretly thrilled that means we’ll be seeing much more of him now that he’s moving to the city.
The transition from farm life to university is a big one, but Calvin’s ready for it. And honestly? We’re excited too. Sunday dinners are about to get a lot more interesting, and our laundry room is about to get a lot busier!
Here’s to new beginnings, brilliant futures, and the quiet achievers who make us all so proud. Congratulations, Calvin – we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!
Welcome to the city, kiddo. Don’t forget where the washing machine is.
